You won’t find many Hellebores (Lenten roses)in the Hill Country: except in Natalie Vollmar’s garden! Two were in her backyard when she bought the house and added more from New Mexico. “I have split them, moved them, shared them…. They even reproduce from dropped seeds. Even more, the deer won’t touch them,” she tells us.
